Services & scheduling
10 answersWhat residential real estate media does Door3D provide?
Door3D can build a listing package from HDR photography, Matterport 3D tours, Zillow 3D Home tours, drone photography, drone video, indoor drone flythroughs, floor plans, virtual staging, twilight edits, social media assets, and a property website. Choose a package for a coordinated set or book individual services à la carte.
Do your photography packages include unlimited photos?
Packages are built around complete, useful coverage rather than an arbitrary promise of unlimited files. The final count depends on the property’s size, layout, condition, and the services selected. We photograph the spaces needed to market the home clearly and deliver the finished images that meet our quality standard.
How quickly can I receive the finished media?
Standard turnaround is within 48 business hours after the shoot. A 24-hour delivery option is available when the schedule and project scope allow. Larger homes, complex video edits, virtual staging, or unusually large custom scopes may need a confirmed timeline before production begins.
Can I book a same-day or next-day appointment?
Sometimes. Short-notice appointments depend on photographer availability, property readiness, access, weather, and any drone restrictions. The booking page shows the current schedule; for an urgent listing, call <a href="tel:+13236330249">(323) 633-0249 so we can check the fastest workable option.
Are appointments available seven days a week?
Available dates and time windows are shown during booking and can vary by week. Weekend work may be possible, but it is not guaranteed every week. If the visible schedule does not fit the listing date, contact us and we will check whether another appointment can be arranged.
Do you charge travel or trip fees?
Travel is included within 30 miles of central Los Angeles. The current travel fee is $50 for locations 30–70 miles away and $99 beyond 70 miles. The booking flow or Door3D team can confirm the applicable zone before the appointment.
Can you handle a last-minute booking?
Yes when the crew, equipment, daylight, and property access line up. Submit the property details as soon as possible and identify the listing deadline. We will confirm what can realistically be captured and delivered rather than promising a rush schedule that could compromise the work.
Which areas do you serve?
Door3D is based in Los Angeles and covers Los Angeles County plus many surrounding communities. Distance-based travel terms apply outside the included radius. For an address near the edge of the service area, send the location through the booking or contact page for an exact answer.
How long does a residential shoot take?
Timing depends on square footage, preparation, access, and the selected services. A photo-only visit is usually shorter than a combined photo, drone, floor-plan, and 3D-tour appointment. Your confirmation will reflect the scope; keeping rooms ready and access points clear helps the crew work efficiently.
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the appointment carries a 25% fee. If the crew has arrived and the shoot is cancelled on site, the fee is 50%. Contact us early when access, weather, occupants, or property readiness may force a change so we can discuss rescheduling.
Pricing & payment
10 answersHow are Door3D residential packages priced?
Current base pricing is $250 for Essential, $350 for Showcase, and $450 for Exposure. Each package covers homes up to 2,000 square feet; each additional 1,000 square feet adds $100. Package contents and current add-ons are listed on the <a href="pricing.html#pricing-residential">Residential pricing page.
Do you offer discounts for several properties or recurring work?
Multi-property and recurring assignments can be quoted around the number of addresses, timing, travel, and repeated deliverables. Because the savings depend on an efficient shared schedule and consistent scope, contact Door3D with the expected volume instead of assuming a blanket discount.
Is there a membership or subscription plan?
The public residential pricing is currently package and project based. There is no advertised subscription that you must join to book. Agents, teams, brokerages, and property managers with recurring volume can request a custom working arrangement.
Which payment methods do you accept?
The available payment options are presented with your invoice or booking workflow. If your brokerage requires a particular card, electronic method, or accounting process, confirm it with Door3D before the shoot so the delivery is not delayed by billing setup.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit is required for the standard residential offerings shown on the site. Full payment is due when the finished work is delivered. A larger or unusual custom production may have separate written terms, which would be disclosed before you approve it.
Are there any extra or hidden fees?
The standard variables are shown openly: package or service price, square-footage additions, optional upgrades, rush delivery when selected, travel outside the included radius, and applicable cancellation fees. A custom request is quoted before work begins. Review the order summary and ask about anything unclear before confirming.
Do luxury or high-end homes cost more?
A property is not surcharged simply because it is luxurious. Price changes usually come from measurable scope: size, number of structures, complex amenities, additional production time, advanced retouching, twilight timing, video requirements, or extended travel. We will quote those needs from the brief.
Do you guarantee satisfaction?
Door3D aims to confirm the brief before capture and deliver polished, market-ready work. If something appears technically wrong or differs from the agreed scope, report it promptly so we can review the files and determine the appropriate correction. Specific refunds or reshoots depend on the facts and are not automatic.
When is payment due?
For the standard services listed on the site, you book without a deposit and pay in full on delivery. Custom productions may use a separate proposal and payment schedule. Any different arrangement should appear in writing before the work starts.
Will I receive an invoice or receipt?
Yes. The project’s billing record documents the selected services and amount due, and payment confirmation serves as a receipt. If a brokerage needs a business name, property address, purchase order, or other accounting detail, provide it when booking or before the invoice is issued.
Photography quality & editing
10 answersWhat camera equipment do you use?
Door3D selects professional capture equipment for the assignment, including dedicated photo, aerial, 3D, and stabilized video systems where required. Specific bodies and lenses may change as the kit improves; the consistent commitment is suitable resolution, controlled exposure, straight architectural lines, and dependable backup workflows.
What is HDR real estate photography?
HDR combines multiple exposures so bright windows and darker interiors can be represented in one balanced photograph. The goal is a natural, inviting room with usable detail across the scene, not an artificial or overprocessed look. It is the foundation of Door3D’s residential still photography.
How do you keep the visual style consistent across a listing?
The photographer follows a repeatable capture approach for camera height, composition, exposure, and room sequence. Editing then aligns brightness, white balance, color, vertical lines, and exterior presentation across the set. Related services are planned together so photos, video, tours, and floor plans describe the same property coherently.
Can you replace a gray sky or create a twilight look?
Yes. Door3D offers twilight photo editing at $30 per image, and sky or exterior enhancements may be used when appropriate. Edits should strengthen the presentation without hiding material property conditions. Tell us which hero views matter most so the treatment is applied intentionally.
Can you remove unwanted objects or clutter?
Minor distractions may be removable when the background can be reconstructed convincingly. Large furniture, heavy clutter, reflections, or objects covering important architectural details may require extensive retouching and a separate quote. Physical preparation before the shoot remains the cleanest and most accurate solution.
Can personal belongings or staging pieces be removed after the shoot?
Small items can sometimes be retouched, while whole-room clearing or furniture removal is closer to digital renovation and must be reviewed image by image. Send reference frames for a feasibility and price check. We avoid edits that could materially misrepresent a property.
Do you offer virtual staging?
Yes. Virtual staging is $30 per finished image. It can help buyers understand scale and possible use in an empty room. The staged version should be disclosed where local MLS rules require it, and keeping an original unstaged view available is a sound marketing practice.
How do you photograph dark interiors or rooms with difficult lighting?
We use exposure blending, available-light control, careful camera placement, and editing to retain room detail while keeping windows and fixtures believable. Turning on working lights, replacing mismatched bulbs, opening window treatments, and removing visual obstructions before arrival will improve the final result.
What resolution will my photographs have?
Delivery is prepared for the agreed uses, typically including files suitable for MLS and online marketing. Higher-resolution files can support websites and print when included in the project. If a designer needs a specific pixel size, color profile, crop, or print dimension, request it before delivery.
Will the images meet MLS requirements?
Door3D prepares residential listing photographs for common MLS use, but each MLS can set its own current size, branding, file, and disclosure rules. Tell us which platform you use when it has unusual specifications. The agent or broker remains responsible for the listing’s compliance and factual accuracy.
Video & aerial media
10 answersDo you create property walkthrough videos?
Yes. Door3D offers real estate video coverage, including traditional property video and an indoor drone flythrough option. The right format depends on the home, access, safety, intended platform, and story. Share examples or a desired runtime so the shot plan matches the campaign.
Can you make vertical reels for Instagram or TikTok?
Vertical social assets can be planned as part of a video or social media scope. A purposeful vertical shoot usually performs better than simply cropping a wide video because framing, movement, pacing, titles, and safe zones can be designed for the phone screen.
Do you provide drone photography and video?
Yes. Drone photography is $199 as a standalone service or $149 when added to the same visit; a property outline and drone 360 are included. Drone video is $349. Every flight remains subject to weather, airspace, site access, safety, and legal operating conditions.
Are your drone pilots licensed and insured?
Yes. Door3D identifies its operations as FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured. Certification does not override airspace, temporary flight restrictions, property rules, or safe-weather limits, so a requested flight may need adjustment, authorization, rescheduling, or an alternative capture plan.
Can a video include my branding or an on-camera agent introduction?
Branding, logos, contact details, titles, and an agent-led opening can be included when they are specified before editing. Provide approved brand files and exact text early. Remember that some MLS feeds require an unbranded version, so request separate branded and compliant exports when needed.
Do you offer 360-degree or Matterport tours?
Yes. A Matterport 3D tour is $199 for up to 2,000 square feet, with $100 for each additional 1,000 square feet and six months of hosting included. Door3D also offers Zillow 3D Home tours starting at $149 under the same base size structure.
How long does video editing take?
The standard site-wide delivery target is within 48 business hours, but video timing depends on runtime, footage volume, revisions, motion graphics, narration, and the rest of the order. A complex production may receive a specific schedule before the shoot. Ask about 24-hour delivery if the listing is urgent.
Can you include the neighborhood or nearby amenities?
Yes when the surrounding area is part of the agreed story and can be filmed legally and safely. Community coverage may include streetscape, parks, retail, transit context, views, or amenities. Confirm locations in advance because travel, permissions, drone rules, and additional production time can affect the quote.
Can you add voiceover or captions?
Voiceover, on-screen titles, and captions can be scoped for a custom video. Provide the approved facts, pronunciation, required disclosures, and brand voice. Captions are especially useful for social platforms where many viewers watch without sound and for broader accessibility.
Can I choose the music for my property video?
Music can be selected to fit the home and campaign, but it must be properly licensed for the intended use. You may share a creative direction or references. A commercial song cannot simply be added without rights; if you supply music, you must confirm that the necessary license exists.
Floor plans & virtual tours
10 answersDo you provide 2D or 3D floor plans?
Door3D offers residential floor plans as a $49 add-on. Confirm the exact output style needed before the appointment. Matterport tours also provide a spatial digital experience, while formal CAD, design, permit, or as-built documentation belongs to a different scope than a marketing floor plan.
How accurate are marketing floor plans?
Residential marketing floor plans are intended to help viewers understand layout and flow. They should be treated as approximate and are not a survey, appraisal, architectural drawing, code record, or guarantee of square footage. For construction or legal reliance, hire the appropriately licensed professional and request a technical documentation scope.
Can buyers move through the property interactively online?
Yes. Matterport creates a self-guided 3D experience that lets viewers move through connected spaces and understand the home’s layout. Zillow 3D Home tours provide another listing-focused interactive format. Platform availability and features depend on the selected service and host.
Are there monthly hosting fees for a virtual tour?
The Matterport à-la-carte service includes six months of hosting. If the tour needs to stay live longer, contact Door3D before that period ends for current extension options and pricing. Other platforms may follow their own hosting policies.
Can a floor plan carry my brokerage branding?
Branding can be discussed before production. Because MLS rules may prohibit logos or contact details in certain uploaded media, it is often useful to keep an unbranded listing version and create a separate branded asset for direct marketing when requested.
Do virtual tours work on phones and tablets?
Hosted Matterport and Zillow experiences are designed for modern web viewing across common desktop and mobile devices. Actual performance depends on the platform, device, browser, and connection speed. Embedding the tour responsively and testing the destination page before launch is recommended.
Can you publish a tour to Google Street View?
Google Street View publishing is not listed as a standard Door3D residential deliverable. If a property or business needs that workflow, ask before booking so we can confirm current platform support, location eligibility, and whether it requires a custom scope.
Can the tour be embedded on my website?
Usually, yes. Hosted tour platforms commonly provide a link or embed option, and the $99 Door3D listing website can gather property media into a mobile-ready presentation. Your website provider may need to permit third-party embeds, so confirm its requirements if the site is managed elsewhere.
Can a 3D tour be viewed with a virtual-reality headset?
Some tour platforms and devices may support immersive viewing modes, but compatibility changes by platform, browser, and headset. Door3D does not promise universal VR support. If headset viewing is essential, identify the exact device and platform before capture so compatibility can be checked.
What is the difference between a simple virtual tour and Matterport?
A simple virtual tour may mean a slideshow, video, or set of linked panoramas. Matterport is a spatially connected 3D model that lets a viewer navigate rooms and understand their relationship. It requires dedicated capture, processing, and hosting, which is why it is priced and delivered as its own service.
Turnaround & delivery
10 answersWhat is the usual turnaround for photographs?
Standard delivery is within 48 business hours after capture. The clock may differ for large custom assignments or services that require substantial manual editing. If a listing date cannot move, state the deadline when booking and select rush delivery only after availability is confirmed.
What is the usual turnaround for video?
Many standard orders follow the same 48-business-hour target, but edited video can require additional time depending on length, number of locations, graphics, captions, narration, and revision scope. Door3D will set an appropriate timeline for larger productions before work begins.
How will I receive the finished files?
Door3D delivers edited and organized digital media through a shareable online workflow. Follow the delivery instructions to preview and download the included assets. If another team member needs access, use the approved share method rather than forwarding account or payment credentials.
Do you provide different download sizes?
The delivery is prepared around the intended uses, with MLS and online-ready files being common. If you also need high-resolution print assets, a vertical social crop, or another exact size, include that requirement in the brief so exports can be planned correctly.
Which file formats do you deliver?
Formats depend on the service: photographs are commonly delivered as standard web-compatible images, videos in a widely supported digital format, and plans or tour links in their appropriate presentation format. Ask before booking when a vendor requires a specific codec, container, image type, or document format.
Will Door3D upload the files to my MLS or marketing platform?
Direct third-party uploading is not included in the standard public offering. Door3D supplies organized assets for the client or authorized listing team to publish. Custom upload help may be possible if access, permissions, responsibility, and platform requirements are agreed in advance.
Do you keep backup copies of my media?
Door3D uses a working delivery process, but clients should download and securely archive the final files as soon as they arrive. Long-term storage is not a substitute for your own backup system, and hosted tours have separate retention periods such as the included six months for Matterport.
How long will my download link or files remain available?
Access windows can vary by delivery platform and service. Download the original delivery promptly and maintain your own archive. For Matterport, six months of hosting is included; ask about an extension before that term expires if the tour must remain public.
Is rush delivery available?
A 24-hour delivery option is available when production capacity and the selected services allow it. Rush timing should be confirmed before the shoot, especially for video, virtual staging, large properties, or multi-location projects. A rush request does not bypass weather, access, or platform-processing constraints.
Can I request revisions after delivery?
Yes, send a clear list promptly. Door3D will compare each request with the approved scope and correct verified technical issues when appropriate. New creative directions, undeclared retouching, additional exports, changed branding, or edits based on information supplied after approval may require a separate fee and timeline.
Customer service & support
10 answersWhat makes Door3D different from another media provider?
Door3D combines still photography, aerial media, 3D tours, floor plans, video, and listing presentation in one coordinated workflow. The focus is on helping people understand the space before a showing, with straightforward residential package pricing, Los Angeles-area service, certified drone operations, and organized delivery.
Is there a support team I can reach?
Yes. Door3D can help with service selection, scheduling, property preparation, delivery, and questions about the finished assets. Use the contact page, email <a href="mailto:info@Door3D.com">info@Door3D.com, or call <a href="tel:+13236330249">(323) 633-0249.
What is the fastest way to contact support?
For a time-sensitive shoot-day issue, call (323) 633-0249. Email or the contact form works well for quotes, file questions, reference images, and requests that need a written record. Include the property address and project or delivery details so the team can identify the job quickly.
Can you help me choose the right services?
Yes. Share the property type, square footage, listing date, key features, target platforms, and marketing goal. Door3D can then explain whether a base photo package, 3D tour, aerial coverage, floor plan, video, virtual staging, or a combined package best supports the listing.
Can I request a particular photographer?
You may state a preference, especially when continuity matters across repeat assignments. Scheduling still depends on availability, location, required credentials, and equipment. Door3D’s responsibility is to assign someone capable of completing the agreed scope, so a specific person cannot always be guaranteed.
How should I report a problem?
Contact Door3D promptly with the property address, affected file names or links, and a precise description of the issue. Screenshots can help show platform behavior. Keeping the report factual and consolidated allows the team to reproduce the problem and decide whether a correction, new export, or other remedy is appropriate.
What happens if the result does not match the agreed brief?
Door3D will review the written scope, property conditions, source capture, and delivered files. When there is a correctable technical or production issue within that scope, the team can determine a practical remedy. Requests that change the original direction or require new on-site work may be treated as added scope.
Can I receive a refund?
Refunds are reviewed case by case rather than promised automatically. Contact Door3D promptly and allow the team to investigate and, where appropriate, correct the problem. Completed capture time, travel, third-party hosting, approved work, and client-caused access or readiness issues can affect the outcome.
Can I see examples before booking?
Yes. Door3D’s industry and service pages show representative residential photography, aerial work, tours, plans, video, and presentation styles. If your listing has a specific architectural type or production need, request relevant examples so you can compare the intended approach.
How do you keep the on-site experience professional?
The project is planned around a confirmed scope, access instructions, property readiness, occupant considerations, and safe equipment use. Clear arrival communication and an orderly capture sequence reduce disruption. Agents should disclose site hazards, restricted rooms, pets, alarms, parking limits, and special access rules before arrival.
Licensing & usage rights
10 answersWho owns the photographs and videos?
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, Door3D retains copyright in the media and grants the commissioning client a license for the approved property-marketing uses. Copyright ownership and permission to use the files are different rights; purchasing a shoot does not automatically transfer the copyright.
Can I use the media outside the MLS?
Yes. The standard residential license includes MLS, social media, a listing website, and print marketing for the property. Broadcast use, unrelated advertising, stock use, or broader commercial campaigns require a separate quote so the license matches the audience, duration, and purpose.
Do I have to credit Door3D?
A visible credit is generally not necessary for the standard listing uses unless the project agreement requires one. Credit does not expand the license, and omitting credit does not transfer copyright. Editorial publications or third-party features should confirm permission and attribution before using the work.
Can I give or sell the media to another agent, owner, builder, or vendor?
The commissioning client should not resell or transfer the files as if they own the copyright. Another agent, owner, designer, contractor, publisher, or vendor may need its own permission or license, particularly when the use extends beyond marketing the original listing. Ask Door3D before transferring a library.
Can I buy the copyright outright?
A copyright assignment can be discussed for a custom project, but it is separate from the standard residential license and must be written and priced explicitly. Most listing campaigns only need a clear usage license, which is usually more practical than purchasing all ownership rights.
Can I post the media on social media?
Yes. Social media marketing for the represented property is included in the standard residential use. Use the correctly formatted files, keep required disclosures intact, and avoid applying filters or edits that damage the work or misrepresent the home. Platform music and advertising rules still apply.
Can the media include my logo or co-branding?
Branding can be incorporated when requested before delivery and when the destination permits it. Because MLS systems often restrict contact information and logos, ask for an unbranded version for listing feeds and a branded version for direct marketing or social use when both are needed.
Can I keep using the media after the property sells?
The standard license is tied to marketing the photographed property. Keeping the files in an agent portfolio or closed-listing archive may be reasonable within the agreed terms, while reusing them for a new listing cycle, a different business, or unrelated advertising may require renewed permission. Confirm any long-term use with Door3D.
Can I obtain exclusive usage rights?
Exclusive rights are possible only through a specific written agreement that defines who is excluded, which media is covered, the territory, purpose, and duration. Standard residential delivery should not be assumed to include exclusivity because Door3D may retain copyright and portfolio rights.
When would an extended license carry an additional fee?
An extended license may be needed for paid advertising beyond the property campaign, broadcast, publication, stock or resale, developer or hospitality marketing, product promotion, transfer to unrelated third parties, or use after the original listing purpose. The fee depends on reach, duration, media, exclusivity, and commercial value.
Add-ons & customization
10 answersCan you customize the branding and presentation?
Yes. Share approved logos, colors, fonts, contact details, legal disclaimers, and examples before editing begins. Door3D can scope branded property pages, video titles, social assets, and presentation elements while also preserving unbranded versions needed for MLS distribution.
Do you create brochures or other marketing pieces?
Door3D’s public residential menu centers on property media and a tracked listing website. Brochures or other collateral can be discussed as a custom project, but they are not included automatically. Supply final copy, brand standards, print specifications, and printer requirements when requesting design work.
Do you offer agent headshots or team photography?
Headshots and team portraits are not listed as standard residential services. Ask about availability if you want to coordinate them with a property shoot. Portrait lighting, backdrop, styling, retouching, location, and usage require their own brief and quote.
Can you photograph the neighborhood and local lifestyle?
Yes as a custom extension when it supports the listing story. A neighborhood set can cover streetscape, recreation, retail, architecture, views, or local amenities. We plan it separately because timing, permissions, crowds, travel, recognizable people, and drone restrictions affect what can be captured responsibly.
Can aerial coverage include nearby amenities and points of interest?
Yes when the locations are within a practical flight plan and legal operating area. Identify the desired landmarks before the shoot. Door3D will assess airspace, privacy, takeoff access, visual distance, weather, and whether graphic labels or property outlines are more useful than additional flight time.
Do you provide live-streamed virtual open houses?
Live streaming is not part of the standard published service list. Door3D can provide prerecorded video, interactive tours, and other digital assets that support a virtual showing. If a live production is required, request a custom feasibility review covering platform, connectivity, crew, audio, rehearsal, and moderation.
Can you build ads from the property media?
Door3D can supply campaign-ready photos, vertical video, branded edits, and a tracked listing website. Media buying and platform ad management are not stated as standard inclusions. If you need an entire paid campaign, clarify the audience, budget, platforms, creative variations, tracking, and approval responsibilities.
Do you manage an agent’s social media accounts?
Ongoing account management is not listed as a standard Door3D service. We can create media designed for social use and discuss a recurring content scope. Posting access, community management, captions, advertising, compliance, and performance reporting would need a separate written agreement.
Can you create a narrated property tour?
Yes as a custom video scope. Narration may come from an agent, an approved voice artist, or another agreed source. Door3D needs a fact-checked script, correct pronunciations, required disclosures, and approval points. Script changes after recording can add time or cost.
Do you build single-property websites?
Yes. A mobile-ready listing website is available for $99. It can present the property media and tracks views, link clicks, and traffic sources. Confirm the desired address, branding, links, contact information, publish date, and how long the page needs to remain active.
Technology & innovation
10 answersDo you use AI-assisted editing?
Door3D may use modern software and automation as part of an editor-supervised workflow. The important standard is the finished result: accurate architecture, controlled color and exposure, clean delivery, and responsible disclosure where an image has been materially altered. Automation does not replace human review.
Do you offer AI virtual staging?
Door3D offers virtual staging at $30 per image. The production method may use current digital tools under human direction and quality control. The staged result should be clearly identified where rules require it, should preserve structural truth, and should not invent permanent features that buyers would expect to find.
How does Door3D keep up with new real estate media technology?
The service mix is updated around tools that improve how a buyer understands a space: HDR capture, certified aerial media, 3D tours, floor plans, stabilized video, platform-ready exports, and tracked property pages. New tools are evaluated for reliability, compatibility, visual quality, and practical benefit rather than novelty alone.
Do you create augmented-reality experiences?
Augmented reality is not a standard published residential service. If a campaign requires AR furniture placement, location overlays, or an interactive activation, Door3D can review the concept as a custom project and identify the platform, asset specifications, device support, hosting, and development work involved.
Can delivery integrate with my website or CRM?
The normal workflow provides downloadable media, shareable links, hosted tour URLs, and a listing website option. Direct CRM or website automation depends on the specific system and is not promised by default. Share the platform name, documentation, required fields, and desired trigger for a feasibility review.
Do you provide an API for automatic media uploads?
A public Door3D media-upload API is not part of the advertised residential service. Teams with substantial recurring volume can describe their platform and workflow so we can evaluate a custom integration or a reliable manual handoff.
How do you protect property and client information?
Door3D limits project information to what is needed for scheduling, capture, billing, delivery, and support. Clients should avoid sending alarm codes or sensitive access details through public notes, disclose occupancy and privacy restrictions, and remove confidential documents from view before the shoot. Hosted services also follow their own platform policies.
Can I see analytics for my property media?
The $99 Door3D listing website tracks page views, link clicks, and traffic sources. Analytics for MLS portals, Matterport, Zillow, social platforms, or a client-owned website depend on those systems and the account permissions available. Agree on the reporting source and period before relying on a particular metric.
Can you syndicate the media to multiple listing platforms?
Door3D prepares assets for broad property marketing, but automatic syndication is controlled by the MLS, brokerage feed, portal, or publishing platform. The listing team normally uploads the compliant files once and lets its authorized feed distribute them. Platform-specific publishing help must be agreed separately.
Is there a referral or loyalty program?
Door3D does not currently advertise a fixed public rewards program. Agents, teams, brokerages, and property managers with repeat work can contact us about a relationship based on real volume and a consistent scope. Any credit, discount, or referral term should be confirmed in writing before it is relied on.
Services & scheduling
10 answersWhat commercial real estate media does Door3D provide?
Door3D captures HDR photography, drone photos and video, Matterport 3D tours, floor plans, twilight images, virtual staging, indoor flythroughs, and branded listing websites. Book a package or individual services around the asset and audience. Matterport is the usual starting point for a commercial walkthrough; Zillow 3D Home suitability must be confirmed for the specific property and listing platform.
Which commercial property types do you photograph?
We plan media for office suites and buildings, retail frontage, industrial and warehouse space, mixed-use properties, medical space, showrooms, and adaptive reuse projects. Each asset gets its own media plan because a shell retail unit and a multi-floor office need different coverage. If the property is unusual, send the address and a short description so we can confirm the right approach.
Who usually hires Door3D for commercial work?
Brokers, leasing agents, owners, and property managers use commercial media to help prospects understand a space before a site visit. Investors, developers, and asset managers can also request visuals for presentations and review. Share who will use the finished files and where they will appear so the coverage and license fit the project.
Which areas do you serve for commercial shoots?
Door3D is based in Los Angeles. Travel is free within 30 miles, $50 for locations 30 to 70 miles away, and $99 beyond 70 miles. For a portfolio spread across several cities, send the addresses together so we can plan an efficient schedule and confirm travel before anything is booked.
How do I request a commercial shoot?
Send the address, property type, approximate square footage, the media you need, and your launch date or access window. You can use Book Now or the contact page, and we reply within 24 hours. From there we confirm the scope, timing, and access plan so the shoot can get locked in.
Can you work around a tight leasing or listing deadline?
Often, yes, when crew availability, building access, weather, and airspace line up. Tell us the hard deadline when you reach out, and call (323) 633-0249 if it is urgent. We will tell you what can realistically be captured and delivered instead of promising a rush that puts the quality or the schedule at risk.
How long does a commercial shoot take?
It depends on square footage, the number of suites and floors, access, and which services are booked. A photo and drone visit for one suite moves faster than a full Matterport capture of a multi-floor building. Larger commercial spaces are scoped around access, size, and the number of areas, and your confirmation will reflect that plan.
Does someone need to be on site during the shoot?
That depends on the building. The crew needs reliable access to every area in scope, which often means a property manager, building engineer, or broker who can unlock suites, handle alarms, and answer questions. Confirm the access plan when booking so nobody is waiting at a locked door on shoot day.
Can you coordinate directly with property managers or building staff?
Yes. Share the right contacts when booking and we can work through access windows, parking, loading areas, elevators, security check-in, and any building rules. Access timing and operational constraints are part of the quote conversation for commercial work, so the capture plan fits how the building actually runs.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
A cancellation less than 24 hours before the shoot carries a 25% fee. If the crew has already arrived and the shoot is cancelled on site, the fee is 50%. If access, tenants, weather, or readiness might force a change, contact us as early as possible so we can look at rescheduling options together.
Pricing & quotes
10 answersDo you publish standard commercial packages?
Yes. Commercial packages are Essential at $250, Showcase at $350, and Exposure at $550, each covering up to 2,000 square feet with $100 for each additional 1,000 square feet. Current details are on the commercial pricing page. Very large buildings, multi-site work, and recurring documentation are quoted around the actual scope.
What does each commercial package include?
Essential includes edited HDR photos and edited drone photos, plus a free drone 360 photo and drone property outline. Showcase adds a Matterport 3D tour and a floor plan, with 12 months of Matterport cloud hosting. Exposure includes everything in Showcase plus drone video, also with 12 months of hosting.
Why does commercial Matterport hosting run 12 months in packages?
Leasing and stakeholder review usually move on a longer timeline than a residential sale. That is why the Showcase and Exposure commercial packages include 12 months of Matterport cloud hosting. A Matterport tour booked on its own includes 6 months of hosting, and extensions can be discussed before that term ends.
Can I book individual services instead of a package?
Yes. Commercial a la carte pricing includes HDR photography at $199, a Matterport 3D tour at $199, and a Zillow 3D Home tour at $149, each up to 2,000 square feet with $100 per additional 1,000. Drone photos are $199 standalone or $149 added to the same visit, drone video is $349, and a floor plan is $49.
How much do add-ons cost?
Virtual staging and twilight photography are each $30 per image. A branded listing website is a $99 add-on. Indoor drone flythroughs start at $599, and commercial flythroughs are quoted around route complexity, access, timing, and final usage. Any custom request is quoted before work begins so you know the number up front.
How is a very large building or campus priced?
Packages and core services follow the square-footage rule of $100 for each additional 1,000 square feet. For large footprints, multiple buildings, or many suites, we build a custom quote around what actually needs to be captured. Send the approximate square footage and the spaces that matter most so the quote reflects the real scope.
Is a deposit required?
No. You can book without a deposit, and full payment is due on delivery. A larger custom production may use its own written terms, and if so those terms will be shared with you before you approve the work. Nothing different from the standard terms should come as a surprise.
Do you offer pricing for portfolios or multiple properties?
Multi-property work can be quoted around the number of addresses, scheduling, travel, and repeated deliverables. Savings depend on an efficient shared schedule and a consistent scope, so we do not advertise a blanket discount. Send the property list and expected timing and we will put together a quote that fits.
Are there any extra fees I should know about?
The variables are published: square-footage additions, add-ons, travel beyond 30 miles, and cancellation fees. Anything outside the standard menu, such as a very large scope, technical files, or custom video, is quoted before work starts. Review your order summary and ask about anything unclear before confirming the shoot.
Which payment methods do you accept, and can you invoice our company?
Payment options are presented with your invoice or booking. If your firm needs a specific entity name, purchase order, billing contact, or vendor setup, send those details before the shoot. Sorting out billing early keeps delivery from getting held up by paperwork after the media is ready.
Site access & occupied buildings
10 answersCan you shoot in occupied buildings?
Yes. Occupied suites, access timing, and operational constraints are part of the quote conversation, so the capture plan fits the building instead of disrupting it. Let us know which areas are in use, which tenants need notice, and any hours to avoid. The more we know up front, the smoother shoot day goes.
How do you keep disruption to tenants low?
We work from a confirmed scope, an agreed access window, and an orderly capture sequence so the crew is not wandering the building. Coordinating with management ahead of time helps tenants know what to expect. If certain areas can only be captured at specific times, we plan the route around that.
Can you shoot before or after business hours?
Off-hours windows can be discussed when the building allows access and the schedule works. Empty common areas are often easier to photograph cleanly. Twilight photography is already scheduled around dusk, when exterior lighting and signage read best, so it can sometimes pair naturally with an after-hours interior capture.
How should we prepare a commercial space for the shoot?
Confirm the suite list, access contact, loading or parking instructions, and any building rules. Notify tenants, clear temporary clutter, turn on working lights, and remove sensitive paperwork and screen content. Identify locked rooms and any areas we must exclude before arrival so the agreed coverage can be completed within your access window.
How do you handle tenant privacy and confidential information?
We capture only the areas in the agreed scope and ask that sensitive material be removed before we arrive. Matterport tours capture everything visible, so screens, documents, and whiteboards need attention ahead of time. If something is spotted during the shoot, we will flag it so the team can decide how to handle it.
Can you blur faces, license plates, or sensitive details?
Minor retouching to obscure small details may be possible when it can be done cleanly. Extensive blurring or removal across many images needs a separate quote. The most reliable approach is clearing people, vehicles, and sensitive material from view before capture, which also keeps the final images more natural.
Are you insured for work on commercial properties?
Yes. Door3D is fully insured, with liability and drone coverage on every shoot. If building management requires a certificate of insurance or specific coverage wording, send those requirements when booking so we can confirm them before the shoot date instead of sorting it out at the front desk.
Can you work under an NDA or for an off-market listing?
Confidential projects can be discussed. Send any NDA or confidentiality terms before the shoot so they can be reviewed, and tell us how the media should be shared and whether portfolio use needs to be restricted. Any special handling should be agreed in writing before capture.
Do you follow building rules and site safety requirements?
Yes. Tell us about check-in procedures, escort requirements, protective equipment, restricted zones, and any hazards before the shoot. Active construction areas are captured only when they are safely accessible. If a rule affects what can be filmed or flown, we will adjust the plan rather than work around it.
What happens if an area is locked or unavailable on shoot day?
We capture everything that is accessible and let you know what was missed. A return visit for the remaining areas may need to be scheduled and can count as added scope. Confirming access to every suite, roof, and amenity the day before is the easiest way to avoid that.
Photography & editing
10 answersHow do you photograph large or glass-heavy commercial spaces?
We use HDR exposure blending so bright windows and darker interiors both hold detail, then correct vertical lines and keep tone consistent across wide spaces. Lobbies, open offices, and storefronts with lots of glass benefit most. The aim is a natural, accurate look that helps prospects read the space quickly.
What comes with commercial HDR photo delivery?
You receive edited interior and exterior stills prepared for listings, websites, email, and presentation use. Exterior sky cleanup is included with HDR photo delivery when the property needs a stronger first impression. Coverage typically includes suites, amenities, and exterior angles based on the agreed scope.
How many photos will we receive?
The count depends on the size of the property, the number of suites and amenities, and the exterior views that matter. We focus on complete, useful coverage rather than an arbitrary number. Tell us the spaces that sell the asset so the shot list prioritizes them.
Can you improve skies and exterior presentation in editing?
Yes. Exterior sky cleanup is included with HDR photo delivery, and the Green Grass Guarantee is listed with our HDR photography service. These edits are meant to present the property at its best without hiding real conditions that a tenant or buyer would expect to see in person.
Can you remove cars, cones, or temporary clutter?
Small distractions can often be removed when the background can be rebuilt convincingly. Large vehicles, heavy clutter, or objects covering important features may need extensive retouching and a separate quote. Clearing the site before the shoot is still the cleanest and most accurate option.
Do you offer virtual staging for vacant commercial space?
Yes. Virtual staging is $30 per image and works well for vacant office suites, shell retail, industrial bays, and underfurnished amenity areas. It helps prospects picture workstation density, merchandising, or use. Staged images should be labeled where platform rules require it, and keeping an unstaged version available is good practice.
When are twilight photos worth adding?
Twilight photography is $30 per image and earns its place when lighting, signage, glass, or frontage changes how the property is perceived. It suits retail, mixed-use, medical, and trophy frontage. The shoot is scheduled around dusk, and the result gives brokers a more premium lead image for decks and campaigns.
Can you feature signage, finishes, and amenities?
Yes. Send a list of the features that matter, such as signage, lobby finishes, fitness centers, parking, or loading. We build the shot list around them. Keep in mind that tenant logos and brand marks belong to their owners, so check whether your marketing needs permission to show them prominently.
What camera equipment do you use?
Door3D uses professional capture equipment chosen for the assignment, including dedicated photo, aerial, and 3D systems. Specific models change as the kit improves, so we do not tie our promise to one camera. The consistent commitment is controlled exposure, straight architectural lines, and organized delivery.
Will the photos work for LoopNet, CoStar, and offering memorandums?
We deliver organized files for web, print, email, and presentation use, which covers most listing platforms and OM layouts. Each platform sets its own size and content rules, so tell us if one has unusual specifications. Your team stays responsible for uploading and for the accuracy of the listing.
Drone, aerial & video
10 answersDo you offer commercial drone photography?
Yes. Drone photography is $199 standalone or $149 as a same-visit add-on, and it includes a free property outline and drone 360 photo. Aerials show access, parking, frontage, roof, and surrounding uses in one quick read, which helps when location logic is part of the sales or leasing story.
Are your drone pilots licensed and insured?
Yes. Door3D operates under FAA Part 107 certification and is fully insured, with drone coverage on every shoot. Certification does not override airspace limits, temporary flight restrictions, property rules, or unsafe weather, so some flights need adjustment, authorization, or rescheduling.
Can you fly near LAX, Burbank, or Van Nuys?
Airspace is checked before every booking, and LAANC authorization is handled where available. If a site near LAX, Burbank, or Van Nuys needs extra lead time, we flag that before the schedule is locked. Some locations may have limits that change what can be flown, and we will tell you up front.
What can delay or prevent a drone flight?
Weather, wind, restricted airspace, temporary flight restrictions, low visibility, unsafe obstacles, or missing access details can all affect the flight plan. Door3D checks the basics before launch and flags anything that needs a timing or scope change, so you are not surprised on shoot day.
Can aerials show highway access, parking, and nearby demand drivers?
Yes, when those features fit within a legal and safe flight plan. Tell us which roads, transit, landmarks, or neighboring uses matter before the shoot. Aerial coverage is most useful for larger footprints and properties where adjacency and access are a big part of the value.
Do you provide property boundary outlines?
Yes. A drone property outline is included free with drone photo coverage, showing lot shape, access, and surroundings. It is a marketing graphic to help prospects read the site, not a legal survey. For exact parcel lines or acreage, rely on official records or a licensed surveyor.
What does commercial drone video include?
Drone video is $349 and is included in the Exposure package. Footage can include flyovers, reveals, pull-backs, orbit passes, and approach clips, edited into a web-ready MP4. It works well for leasing pages, social, and hero placement when context sells the space.
What is an indoor drone flythrough?
An indoor flythrough is a smooth, produced video that moves through lobbies, suites, corridors, amenities, showrooms, or warehouses in one fluid take. It starts at $599, and commercial projects are quoted around route complexity, access, timing, and usage. We will tell you honestly when a space is a better fit for stills.
Do you produce ground-level walkthrough videos?
Video work is available by request while our dedicated video service page is being finished. Current options include property walkthrough edits, vertical reel cuts, and aerial motion clips. Send the address, launch date, and the style of video you want, and we will scope it with a clear quote.
Can videos include our branding, captions, or music?
Branding, titles, captions, and contact details can be added when they are specified before editing. Music must be properly licensed for the intended use, so a popular song cannot simply be dropped in. If a platform needs an unbranded version, ask for both exports at the start.
Matterport tours & floor plans
10 answersWhy add a Matterport tour to a commercial listing?
A Matterport tour connects the lobby, suites, corridors, amenities, and access points into one walkthrough. Owners, brokers, investors, and out-of-market prospects can review the space remotely before booking a site tour. It also gives you one shareable link for broker outreach and offering memorandum follow-up.
How much does a commercial Matterport tour cost?
A Matterport 3D tour is $199 for up to 2,000 square feet, plus $100 for each additional 1,000 square feet, with 6 months of cloud hosting included. The Showcase and Exposure commercial packages include a Matterport tour with 12 months of hosting, along with a floor plan and other media.
What happens when Matterport hosting ends?
Hosting is included for the term attached to your service, which is 6 months a la carte or 12 months in the commercial packages. If the tour needs to stay live longer, contact Door3D before the term ends so we can share current extension options and pricing.
Can the tour be embedded on our website or listing platforms?
Yes. Matterport provides a shareable link and embed code that works on listing pages, property websites, proposal pages, and most custom sites. Our commercial Matterport tours are compatible with BREVITAS. Each listing platform sets its own rules for embedded tours, so check those before launch.
Should we choose Matterport or Zillow 3D Home for a commercial property?
Choose Matterport when layout, circulation, measurement, and a premium remote review matter, which describes most commercial assets. A Zillow 3D Home tour is $149 and is built for native Zillow visibility, so it fits when Zillow reach matters for the property. Some listings use both.
What kind of floor plans do you provide?
Our floor plan is a $49 schematic plan generated from the same property visit. It shows suite layout, access, room relationships, and support areas so prospects can judge fit before another walkthrough. Dimension cues can be included when scoped. Tell us how the plan will be used so we recommend the right level of detail.
Are your floor plans BOMA measurements?
No. Door3D floor plans are marketing and planning references, not BOMA rentable or usable area calculations, surveys, or architectural drawings. If a lease, appraisal, or legal document depends on official square footage, use figures from a qualified measurement professional or architect and treat our plan as a visual guide.
Can we use Matterport measurements for space planning?
Matterport measurements are helpful reference points for early conversations about fit and layout. They are not survey-grade and do not replace a licensed survey, code review, or architectural documentation. Verify any critical dimension on site before ordering furniture, starting design, or relying on it in a contract.
Can you provide CAD, E57, or MatterPak files?
Technical files are available by quote, including MatterPak, E57, CAD, or BIM outputs when supported. They are scoped to how your design or facilities team will use them. Tell us the software, file type, and level of detail needed before capture so we can confirm what is possible.
How should we prepare a space for a 3D tour?
A Matterport tour captures everything in view, including clutter, open storage, visible cords, personal items, screens, and reflections. Clear and arrange each area the way you want prospects to see it, and let tenants know the scan is happening. Rooms that should stay private need to be flagged before capture.
Turnaround & delivery
10 answersWhat is your standard turnaround for commercial work?
Standard delivery is within 48 business hours after the shoot, and many single-site marketing shoots follow that timeline. Larger scopes, occupied properties, or recurring documentation schedules are quoted with a delivery timeline that matches the project, so you know the date before work begins.
Is 24-hour delivery available?
Yes, 24-hour delivery is available when production capacity and the selected services allow it. Confirm it before the shoot, especially for video, virtual staging, or large multi-suite projects. A rush request cannot speed up weather, access issues, or platform processing, so build a little cushion when you can.
How long do video edits take?
Video takes longer than stills because clips are selected, cut, color graded, paced, and exported. Edited drone photos typically arrive within 48 business hours, while drone video and flythrough edits get a timeline confirmed with the scope. If you have a launch date, share it at booking so we can plan around it.
How will we receive the finished files?
Door3D delivers edited, organized media through a shareable online delivery, with hosted Matterport tours provided as links. Download the files you need and share the delivery with your team through the approved method. Tell us if anyone else, such as ownership or a co-broker, needs direct access.
Which file formats do you deliver?
Still photos and drone photos are delivered as edited JPGs, video as a web-ready MP4, and Matterport tours as hosted links with embed code. Files are prepared for web, print, email, and presentation use. If a designer or platform needs a specific size or format, send the specs before delivery.
Will Door3D upload the media to LoopNet, CoStar, or our website?
Uploading to third-party platforms is not part of the standard service. We supply organized, ready-to-use files and links, and your team or the platform account holder publishes them. If you need help with a particular platform, ask in advance so access and responsibilities can be agreed.
Do you keep backup copies of our media?
Door3D uses a working delivery process, but you should download and archive your final files as soon as they arrive. Our process is not a replacement for your own backups. Hosted Matterport tours follow their own hosting term, so plan an extension before that term ends if the tour needs to stay live.
Can we request revisions after delivery?
Yes. Send a clear list promptly, and we will compare each request with the approved scope and fix verified technical issues. New creative direction, additional retouching, extra exports, or changes based on information shared after approval may need a separate fee and timeline.
Can several stakeholders get access to the files?
Yes. Share the delivery link with ownership, leasing, and marketing teams through your normal process, or tell us who needs access and we can include them. Avoid forwarding payment or account details along with media links, and keep the license terms in mind when sharing outside your team.
How does delivery work for recurring documentation?
Recurring capture can be scoped as one-time documentation, monthly visits, or milestone-based visits. Each visit follows a repeatable route so updates are easy to compare over time, and the delivery timeline for each visit is set in the quote. Tell us who needs the updates and how often.
Licensing & marketing use
10 answersWho owns the photos and videos?
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, Door3D keeps the copyright and grants the commissioning client a license for the approved marketing uses. Owning the copyright and having permission to use the files are different things, and booking a shoot does not transfer copyright automatically.
What uses are included in the standard license?
MLS, social, website, and print use are included for marketing the photographed property. Broadcast use or broader commercial licensing is quoted separately. If you are planning anything beyond marketing the listing, tell us at booking so the license matches how the media will be used.
Can we use the media in offering memorandums, leasing decks, and email campaigns?
Yes, when those materials market the photographed property. Our commercial files are prepared for web, print, email, and presentation use, which covers OMs, leasing decks, broker outreach, and owner updates. Use for unrelated advertising or other properties needs separate permission.
Can ownership, the leasing team, and co-brokers all use the files?
The license goes to the commissioning client for marketing the property. If ownership, a co-broker, or a property manager will also use the media, tell us at booking so the permission covers them. Anyone using the files for their own separate purpose may need a license of their own.
Can tenants use photos of their own space?
A tenant using images for its own business marketing is a different use than marketing the property for lease or sale. Ask Door3D first so we can confirm permission and whether a separate license applies. That keeps everyone clear on what is allowed.
Can we keep using the media after the space leases or sells?
The standard license is tied to marketing the photographed property. Keeping files in a closed-deal archive may be fine within the agreed terms, while reusing them for a new campaign, a case study, or a different business may need renewed permission. Confirm long-term plans with Door3D.
Do we need to credit Door3D?
Check the usage terms supplied with your order for any credit requirements. Tell us before submitting images to a publication, award program, or third party so we can confirm attribution and permission for that use. A property marketing license does not automatically cover every new publisher or campaign.
Can we buy the copyright or get exclusive rights?
A copyright transfer or exclusive license can be discussed for a custom project, but it is separate from the standard license and must be written and priced explicitly. It should define the media covered, purpose, territory, and duration. Most commercial campaigns only need a clear usage license.
When does broader commercial licensing apply?
Broader licensing is needed for uses like broadcast, paid advertising beyond the property campaign, publication, stock or resale, promoting an unrelated brand, or transferring files to third parties for their own use. The fee depends on reach, duration, media type, and exclusivity, and it is quoted separately.
Are there rules for using virtually staged or edited images?
Yes. Virtually staged or materially altered images should be labeled where platform or MLS rules require it, and edits should never misrepresent the actual condition of the property. Keeping an unstaged original available is good practice. Your team remains responsible for the accuracy of the listing.
Support & working together
10 answersHow do we reach Door3D with questions?
Use the contact page, email info@Door3D.com, or call or text (323) 633-0249. We reply to inquiries within 24 hours. Include the property address and any project details so we can pull up the job quickly and give you a useful answer.
What is the fastest way to reach you on shoot day?
For anything time sensitive on shoot day, call or text (323) 633-0249. Email or the contact form works best for quotes, file questions, reference images, and anything that needs a written record. Always include the property address so the right job is identified right away.
Can you help us choose the right media for a property?
Yes. Share the property type, size, whether it is for lease or sale, the audience, and your launch date. We will recommend whether photos and drone are enough or whether a Matterport tour, floor plan, twilight images, staging, or video would help prospects qualify the space faster.
Do you work with brokerages on ongoing listings?
Yes. Brokerages, ownership groups, and property managers with recurring work can set up a custom working arrangement based on real volume and a consistent scope. Any recurring terms should be confirmed in writing so everyone knows the pricing, timing, and deliverables before the next shoot.
Can you keep a consistent look across a portfolio?
Yes. We follow a repeatable capture approach for camera height, composition, and exposure, then align color, brightness, and vertical lines in editing. That consistency helps a portfolio of listings look like it belongs together. Share any existing brand standards or examples you want us to match.
Do you offer recurring progress documentation?
Yes. Progress capture can be scoped as one-time documentation, monthly reporting, or milestone-based visits, depending on the project and who needs the updates. It is quoted around the site, schedule, and deliverables, and our construction documentation page has more detail.
Can we see commercial examples before booking?
Yes. The commercial page shows examples of HDR photos, drone coverage, twilight images, virtual staging, a Matterport tour, and an indoor flythrough. If your asset type is specific, such as industrial or medical, ask for relevant examples so you can compare the approach before you commit.
How should we report a problem with the delivered media?
Contact Door3D promptly with the property address, the file names or links involved, and a clear description of the issue. Screenshots help when a platform is behaving oddly. A single consolidated report lets us review the problem quickly and decide on the right correction.
Do you offer refunds or reshoots?
Refunds and reshoots are reviewed case by case, not promised automatically. Contact us promptly so we can look into the issue and, where appropriate, correct it. Capture time, travel, hosting, approved work, and access or readiness issues on the client side can all affect the outcome.
What makes Door3D different for commercial clients?
Door3D brings photos, drone, Matterport, floor plans, staging, and listing websites into one coordinated visit and one organized delivery. We publish clear commercial pricing, ask for no deposit, and operate under FAA Part 107 certification with full insurance. We are based in Los Angeles and plan each shoot around how the asset is actually leased or sold.
Technology & listing websites
10 answersWhat is a commercial listing website?
It is a $99 add-on that gives the property its own branded, mobile-ready website. It brings your selected photos, plans, or other purchased media together with the property details and broker contact information. Photography and tours are booked separately, and hosting and domain requirements should be confirmed with us.
Can the listing website work for a lease and a sale?
Yes. The presentation is organized around the property information you supply, whether the opportunity is a sale or a lease. Confirm the intended use when booking, along with the details, contact information, and media you want on the page.
What does the listing website track?
The listing website tracks views, link clicks, and traffic sources, so you can see how visitors arrive and what they interact with. These signals help you understand interest, but they do not guarantee inquiries or a signed lease. Analytics on other platforms depend on those platforms.
Can the listing website use our brokerage branding?
Yes. It is a branded listing website, so share your brokerage identity, property details, and team contact information. Keeping broker contact information visible means the next conversation starts with the right person. Confirm any hosting or custom domain request with Door3D before booking.
Do you use AI-assisted editing?
Door3D may use modern software and automation inside an editor-supervised workflow. What matters is the finished result: accurate architecture, controlled color and exposure, and clear disclosure when an image has been materially changed, such as with virtual staging. Automation does not replace human review.
Do you create 3D renderings of unbuilt projects?
Renderings of unbuilt or conceptual projects are not part of our standard commercial menu. Our work focuses on capturing existing spaces with photos, drone, Matterport, and floor plans. If a project needs conceptual visuals, reach out and we can review whether a custom scope makes sense.
Do you offer augmented reality or VR headset viewing?
Augmented reality is not a standard published service. Some tour platforms and devices support immersive viewing modes, but compatibility changes by platform, browser, and headset, so Door3D does not promise universal VR support. If headset viewing matters, name the device before capture so we can check.
Can delivery connect to our CRM or marketing platform?
The standard workflow provides downloadable files, shareable links, hosted Matterport tours, and an optional listing website. Direct CRM or platform automation is not included by default. Share the platform name and what you want to happen, and we can review whether an integration or a clean manual handoff is the better fit.
Do you provide foot-traffic data, heat maps, or market analytics?
No. Door3D produces visual media such as photos, aerials, tours, and floor plans, not market research or foot-traffic analysis. Those figures usually come from brokerage research tools or data providers. Our media pairs well with that data in an OM or leasing deck.
How do you protect property and client information?
Door3D limits project information to what is needed for scheduling, capture, billing, delivery, and support. Please do not send alarm codes or sensitive access details in public notes, and flag restricted areas before the shoot. Share tour and delivery links only with people who should see the property.
Services & scheduling
10 answersWhat hospitality media does Door3D provide?
Door3D captures atmosphere HDR photos, Matterport 3D tours, drone photos, twilight coverage, indoor flythrough video, floor plans, virtual staging, and social crop sets for hotels, event venues, restaurants, rooftops, and amenity spaces. Most properties need a few of these rather than all of them, so we shape the mix around how your space is booked, sold, and reviewed.
What types of hospitality properties do you work with?
Boutique hotels, guest stays, private event venues, wedding venues, restaurants, bars, lounges, rooftops, clubhouses, and amenity spaces are all a fit. If guests, planners, or clients need to understand a space before they arrive, we can plan coverage for it. Share the space type and audience and we will recommend a starting scope.
What are the Guest Stay, Venue Showcase, and Amenity Exposure scopes?
They are starting points, not fixed packages, and each one is quoted to your actual space. Guest Stay centers on rooms, arrivals, and amenities. Venue Showcase, our most requested scope, pairs hero stills, room flow coverage, evening capture, and Matterport for planner review. Amenity Exposure covers rooftops, lounges, and concepts with mood stills, drone context, and a social crop set.
Can we book a single service instead of a full scope?
Yes. Matterport walkthroughs, atmosphere HDR photos, drone photos, twilight coverage, indoor flythroughs, and floor plans can each be quoted on their own. Add-ons like drone stills, a planning floor plan, an evening hero set, or a social crop set can be layered on later when a launch or refresh calls for them.
Which areas do you serve?
Door3D is based in Los Angeles and serves hospitality properties across the greater LA area. Under our standard terms, travel is free within 30 miles, $50 for 30 to 70 miles, and $99 beyond 70 miles. For resorts or venues farther out, send the address and we will confirm travel in the quote before anything is booked.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can. Hospitality capture windows have to fit around occupancy, events, staff schedules, and sometimes evening light, so the best dates go first. Send the space type, media needed, access window, and launch date as soon as the project is real, and we will confirm dates that actually work for your operation.
Can you shoot on short notice?
Sometimes. Short-notice work depends on crew availability, access to the spaces, weather for exterior or drone work, and whether rooms can be set in time. Call (323) 633-0249 with your deadline and we will tell you honestly what can be captured and delivered, rather than promising a rush that shortchanges the work.
How long does a hospitality shoot take?
It depends on the number of rooms and zones, the services selected, and how much access we have at once. A focused restaurant set is much shorter than a hotel with rooms, amenities, Matterport, drone, and twilight. Your quote outlines the capture plan, and some larger properties are split into more than one visit.
Can several services be captured in one visit?
Often, yes. Matterport, HDR stills, drone coverage, and twilight imagery can be scoped into one production window when access and timing allow. Twilight has to happen near sunset, so a combined day is usually sequenced so the daytime and interior work wraps up before the evening light arrives.
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
A cancellation less than 24 hours before the shoot carries a 25% fee, and an on-site cancellation after the crew arrives is a 50% fee. If an event runs long, occupancy changes, or weather threatens exterior work, tell us as early as possible so we can talk through rescheduling instead of cancelling.
Pricing & quotes
10 answersDo you publish standard hospitality prices?
No. Hospitality and event work is quoted per project because properties vary so much in size, access, and deliverables. A rooftop bar and a multi-floor hotel need very different plans. We quote around the space type, the capture window, and the media you actually need, instead of forcing the venue into a residential-style package.
What affects the price of a hospitality project?
The main factors are the number of rooms and zones, the services selected, the final image count, twilight or evening timing, drone needs, Matterport area, video length, travel, and how many visits your access schedule requires. Licensing beyond the included uses can also change the quote, so mention any broadcast or large campaign plans early.
What do you need from us to prepare a quote?
Send the space type, address, the media you are considering, your access window, and the launch or campaign date. Notes about your audience, such as leisure guests, planners, couples, or corporate clients, help us recommend the right mix. We reply to inquiries within 24 hours with questions or a proposed scope.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit is required under our standard terms. You book now and pay on delivery, with full payment due when the finished work is delivered. If a large or unusual production ever needs different terms, those would be laid out clearly in writing before you approve the project.
When is payment due?
Payment is due in full on delivery. For multi-part projects, the quote explains how each delivery and invoice line up, so there are no surprises. If your finance team needs a purchase order, vendor setup paperwork, or specific billing details, send them before the shoot so delivery is not held up by accounting.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The quote lists the agreed scope and deliverables. The standard variables are travel beyond 30 miles, cancellation fees, rush timing if you request it, and expanded licensing. If something changes on site, like an added room or a second visit, we confirm it with you before treating it as added scope.
Do you offer pricing for multiple properties or recurring shoots?
Yes. Hotel groups, multi-venue operators, seasonal refreshes, and recurring venue updates can be quoted together. Any savings depend on shared scheduling, consistent deliverables, and efficient travel, so send the expected volume and timing rather than assuming a blanket discount. We will build the quote around how the work really flows.
Is twilight or evening coverage priced separately?
Twilight is quoted as part of your project because it needs a specific window near sunset and can add time to the day. It is available as an a la carte service or as an evening hero set add-on. It appears as its own line in the quote, so you can decide whether it earns its place.
Does a luxury property cost more?
Not because it is luxurious. Price follows measurable scope: size, number of spaces, styling and reset time, evening timing, video, Matterport area, and travel. A small upscale venue can cost less than a large mid-range hotel with many room types, outlets, and amenities to cover.
Will we receive an invoice?
Yes. The invoice lists the agreed services and amount due, and the payment confirmation serves as your receipt. Provide the legal business name, property address, and any purchase order or accounting details when you book, so the invoice matches your records the first time and nothing needs to be reissued.
Shooting around guests & operations
10 answersCan you shoot while the property is open to guests?
Yes. Capture windows are planned around guests, staff, service, resets, and events. We usually start with the spaces that are hardest to access, then move to areas that can be photographed during quieter periods. Tell us what is off limits, and when, so the plan works for your operation.
When is the best time to photograph public areas?
Usually during low occupancy, such as early morning for lobbies and pools, or between services for restaurants and bars. The right window also depends on the natural light each space gets. Once we know your occupancy patterns and service times, we will propose a capture sequence that keeps the day moving.
Do guest rooms need to be held out of inventory?
Yes, for the rooms you want photographed. Hold those rooms out of inventory and have them fully set and inspected before we arrive. Tell us which room types matter most, such as a signature suite or a standard king, so the schedule covers them in the right order.
Will the shoot disrupt our staff or service?
We work to keep disruption low by agreeing on the shot list, access points, and timing before the visit. The crew moves through the property in an orderly sequence and stays out of active service paths. A staff contact on site makes it much easier to open rooms and move between spaces quickly.
Can you photograph during an event or live service?
Yes, when the goal is atmosphere and you agree to it. Active service or event coverage needs extra planning around guests, lighting, and privacy. Clean architectural images, Matterport scans, and empty room sets are better captured when the space is clear, so most projects schedule those separately.
Do you photograph guests or staff?
People can appear when the scope calls for it, such as a bartender at work or a team member at the front desk. Anyone recognizable should agree to be photographed, and your property should handle any release your brand requires. We avoid capturing identifiable guests who have not agreed to be in the images.
Can you supply models for lifestyle shots?
Talent is not part of our standard published services. If you want lifestyle images with people, tell us early and we can discuss a custom scope using your staff or talent you arrange. Releases, wardrobe, styling, and timing would all be agreed in writing before the shoot day.
How should we prepare the property?
Assign an on-site coordinator and share the shot list with housekeeping, engineering, and the venue team. Prepare linens, glass, surfaces, lighting, and approved props; reserve representative rooms and allow time for each event-room reset. Plan the sequence around occupancy and natural light, and photograph only amenities that accurately represent the guest experience.
Who from our team should be on site?
One point of contact who can open rooms, adjust lighting, move furniture, and answer questions is ideal. For larger properties, it helps if that person can coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage teams. Share their name and number ahead of time so the crew knows who to find on arrival.
What if a space is not ready on the shoot day?
Tell us right away. We can often reorder the shot list and return to that space later in the visit. If it cannot be ready, that part may need to be rescheduled, which can add a visit to the scope. Standard cancellation terms apply only if the whole shoot is called off late.
Rooms & amenities photography
10 answersWhat are atmosphere HDR photos?
HDR blends multiple exposures so bright windows and darker interiors both hold detail in one image. For hospitality, we edit for warmth, clarity, and brand consistency so the space feels inviting without looking flat or overprocessed. These photos are the foundation for booking pages, venue decks, social campaigns, and inquiry follow-up.
Which spaces should a hotel photo set include?
Start with arrival, each distinct room category, bathrooms, public spaces, and the amenities guests can actually book or use. Show meaningful differences such as bed configuration, terrace access, or views rather than using one room to represent every category. Agree the final shot list and image count against your brand and booking-platform requirements before capture.
How many photos will we receive?
The final image count is set in your quote, because hospitality photo work is quoted by rooms, zones, and final image count. We recommend a number based on the spaces and where the images will be used, then deliver the edited set at that count, so there is no guessing after the shoot.
Can you photograph food and drinks?
Detail stills are part of how we show a venue, and food or drink moments can be scoped when they help sell the space, like a signature cocktail on the bar. Your kitchen or bar team handles prep and plating. Tell us in advance so lighting and timing can be planned around service.
Do you capture detail and mood shots?
Yes. Interior mood and detail stills show materials, lighting, textures, and the small touches that make a space feel considered. They pair with wide room images and work well for social posts, website sections, menus of amenities, and sales decks where a single wide shot would not tell the whole story.
Can you keep our images consistent with our brand look?
Yes. Share your brand photography guidelines, color preferences, and example images before the shoot. We edit the set for brand consistency, and repeat shoots can follow the same approach so new images sit comfortably next to your existing library on the website, booking pages, and social channels.
Can you remove distractions in editing?
Minor distractions like small marks, cords, or stray items can often be cleaned up. Larger changes, like removing construction, signage, or permanent features, need a conversation first because they can misrepresent the property to guests. Fixing things on site is usually faster, cheaper, and more honest than heavy retouching later.
Do twilight photos work for hotels and venues?
Yes. Twilight coverage brings out exterior lighting, signage, terraces, and arrival mood in a way daytime images rarely can. It is especially strong for hotels, rooftops, and venues where the evening feel is part of the sale. Shoots are timed to the blue-hour window, which shifts by season.
Do you offer virtual staging for hospitality?
Yes. Virtual staging can show event setups, lounge concepts, banquet layouts, or room resets without a physical setup for every campaign. Staged images should be clearly identified as conceptual where platforms or clients require it, and they should never invent permanent features a guest would expect to find on arrival.
How often should a property refresh its photos?
A refresh makes sense after renovations, rebrands, new concepts or menus, seasonal changes, or whenever images no longer match what guests find. Refresh coverage is available, so we can update a handful of spaces without reshooting the entire property. Tell us what changed and we will scope only what needs it.
Events & venue tours
10 answersWhat media helps event venues with planner inquiries?
The usual core is hero stills for inquiry pages, a Matterport walkthrough for remote review, a floor plan for setup reference, and twilight or evening images for mood. Our Venue Showcase scope bundles these, and we adjust it based on how your sales team actually handles inquiries and site visits.
Why would a venue add a Matterport tour?
Matterport lets planners walk the venue online and understand room sequence, entry points, and guest circulation before scheduling a site visit. It is most useful when several rooms shape the event plan, remote planners or out-of-town clients are involved, or the space is hard to explain with photos alone.
Can planners take measurements in the Matterport tour?
A tour can help planners review room relationships and take approximate measurements where the platform supports them. Treat these as early planning aids, not certified capacity, accessibility, egress, or installation information. Confirm critical dimensions and layouts with the venue team and an on-site check before finalizing an event.
Can you show the venue in different event setups?
Yes, in a few ways. We can photograph real setups you already have in place, schedule capture around resets, or use virtual staging to show table layouts and activation zones. Capturing more than one physical setup in Matterport usually means separate scans, which we scope clearly in the quote.
Do you create floor plans for event spaces?
Yes. Hospitality floor plans show room relationships, arrival, transition zones, service areas, and setup reference for planners. They can include dimension cues when scoped, but they are marketing and planning references, not architectural drawings, survey documents, or official capacity charts, so confirm those numbers separately.
Can you capture outdoor event spaces?
Yes. Patios, terraces, lawns, rooftops, and pool decks can be covered with stills, drone, twilight, and Matterport where conditions allow. Outdoor capture depends on weather, light, and wind, so we time it around the space and talk through a fallback plan if conditions turn on the day.
Can you photograph a real event for our marketing?
Event coverage can be discussed as a custom scope, especially when a real setup shows the venue at its best. Our focus stays on the space, decor, and flow rather than full event documentation. The event host's permission and guest privacy need to be sorted out with you before we arrive.
What is an indoor flythrough?
An indoor flythrough is cinematic video that moves through key guest spaces along a planned, controlled path. It works best for lobbies, ballrooms, lounges, restaurants, and rooftops with real flow and scale. Edits typically run one to three minutes for booking pages, sales follow-up, and social launches.
Can venue media help our sales team in follow-up?
Yes. A Matterport link, floor plan, and hero stills are easy to drop into proposals, follow-up emails, and sales decks. That gives planners something concrete to share with their own clients and stakeholders between calls, which helps keep the conversation moving toward a site visit or a booking.
Do you work with wedding venues?
Yes. Wedding venues need the same things as other event spaces: the ceremony and reception areas, guest flow, evening atmosphere, and the setting. Couples and families often review venues remotely, so a Matterport walkthrough paired with strong stills and twilight images is especially useful for them.
Drone & aerial
10 answersAre your drone pilots certified?
Yes. Door3D flies under FAA Part 107 certification and carries liability and drone coverage on every shoot. Airspace is checked before scheduling, and each flight is planned around a useful shot path and the property's safety needs, so the aerial work fits into your day without surprises.
What does drone coverage show for a hotel or venue?
Drone images establish arrival, parking, rooftops, pools, outdoor amenities, views, and the surrounding setting. They help guests and planners understand the property beyond what ground-level photos can show, which is especially valuable when destination appeal or exterior amenities are part of what you are selling.
Can you fly in controlled or restricted airspace?
Parts of Los Angeles sit in controlled or restricted airspace. We check each address before scheduling and follow whatever authorization the rules require. If flight is not permitted at a location, we will tell you up front and recommend alternatives, such as elevated or rooftop ground photography.
Can you fly over guests or crowds?
Flights are planned to follow FAA rules, which limit operations over people. For active properties, we schedule flights during quieter periods and coordinate with your team to keep pools, patios, and arrival areas clear where needed. Guest comfort and safety come before any single shot.
Do you offer drone video?
Yes. Drone video can include flyovers, reveals, pull-backs, orbit passes, and approach clips edited into a clean MP4. It pairs well with indoor flythrough footage for a launch reel. Video takes longer to deliver than stills because of selection, editing, and color work, and the timeline is confirmed in your quote.
What is a drone 360 view?
A drone 360 is a panoramic aerial image that lets viewers look all the way around the property from above. It is useful for showing the setting, nearby attractions, and access in one interactive view. Ask about adding it when you request your quote, since it is captured during the same flight.
Can drone photos be captured at sunset?
Yes, when weather and airspace allow. Aerial dusk images pair well with ground twilight coverage for hero imagery on websites and decks. The light changes quickly around sunset, so we plan the drone and ground twilight sequence carefully and confirm the arrival time before the shoot.
What weather affects drone work?
Wind, rain, low visibility, temporary flight restrictions, and unsafe obstacles can all affect a flight. We check conditions before launch and will flag anything that needs a timing or scope change rather than flying in unsafe conditions. If the air is not right, we would rather reschedule the aerial portion.
Can you highlight nearby attractions in aerial images?
When they are within a practical, legal flight plan, yes. Tell us which landmarks, beaches, or demand drivers matter before the shoot. Labels or outlines added in editing can be scoped when they help tell the location story better than extra flight time would.
Can drone images be used in our marketing?
Drone images follow the same usage terms as the rest of your media: website, social, email, deck, and print use are included. Broadcast or broader commercial campaigns are quoted separately so the license fits the reach. Tell us early if aerial footage is headed for a larger campaign.
Matterport, 360 & booking platforms
10 answersWhat is a Matterport walkthrough?
Matterport is a 3D tour that lets viewers move through a space online, room by room, with a dollhouse view of the overall layout. For hospitality, it shows guest flow, room sequence, and how spaces connect, which a still gallery cannot fully explain. It works best alongside a strong photo set.
Can a Matterport tour be embedded on our website?
Yes. Matterport provides a shareable link and embed code. The tour can go on your website, event pages, and proposal pages, and the link can be dropped into emails, decks, and planner follow-up. Most custom websites accept the embed without special development work.
Can the tour go on booking engines or OTA listings?
It depends on the platform. Some booking engines, directories, and listing sites accept tour links or embeds, and others do not allow them. Check each platform's media rules, and we will provide the link and embed code for anywhere it is permitted. We do not control third-party platform policies.
How long is a hospitality Matterport tour hosted?
Hosting terms for hospitality tours are confirmed in each quote rather than published as a fixed number. If the tour needs to stay live through a long sales cycle or ongoing marketing, tell us up front so the hosting plan matches. Ask about an extension before the term ends so the link does not go dark.
Do you offer 360 virtual tours?
Our published hospitality lineup centers on Matterport walkthroughs and drone 360 views. Custom 360 panoramic tours can be discussed per project if your sales or marketing team needs a specific format. Share how the tour will be used and who will view it, and we will recommend what fits best.
Is a Matterport tour better than photos?
They do different jobs. Photos carry the first impression, hero imagery, booking pages, and social. Matterport explains layout and flow. Most venues that use Matterport still need a strong photo set, which is why we usually capture both in the same production window when access allows.
How long does a Matterport scan take for a hotel or venue?
Hospitality scans are scoped around access, square footage, and the number of areas being captured. A small restaurant takes far less time than a venue with several event rooms, terraces, and support spaces. We plan the scan around occupancy so each area is clear when we reach it.
Can people appear in a Matterport tour?
We scan spaces empty of guests and staff whenever possible, because people moving through a scan can disrupt the capture and raise privacy concerns. That is why scans are usually scheduled during closed hours or low occupancy windows, with your team helping keep each area clear.
Can a Matterport tour include tags or labels?
Matterport supports tags that can point out amenities, room names, or details. If you want specific labels or links added, list them in your brief so the work can be scoped. Any text or links you supply should be final and accurate before they go into the tour.
Will a tour work with sales software like Cvent or Tripleseat?
Direct software integration is not part of our standard published service. Most sales platforms and proposal tools accept a link, so the tour can usually be shared that way. Send the platform name and how your team uses it, and we will check what is realistic.
Turnaround & delivery
10 answersHow fast is turnaround on hospitality work?
Many single-location still sets can be delivered within 48 business hours. Larger scopes, evening coverage, video, or multi-part projects are quoted with their own timeline, so you know the delivery date before the shoot. If a launch date is fixed, put it in your inquiry so we can plan backward from it.
Is rush delivery available?
Rush timing can be discussed when a launch, campaign, or event needs files sooner. It depends on the scope and editing load, and it should be confirmed before the shoot rather than requested afterward. A rush cannot override weather, access, or third-party platform processing time.
How long does video take?
Video takes longer than stills because clips are selected, cut, color graded, paced, and exported. Indoor flythroughs and drone video edits get a confirmed timeline in the quote based on length, number of locations, and complexity, so your launch plan can account for it from the start.
How will we receive the files?
Files are delivered edited and organized through a shareable online delivery, ready to download. Matterport tours arrive as a link and embed code. Share access with your team through that delivery rather than forwarding logins or payment details, and download your files promptly once they arrive.
Which file formats do you deliver?
Photos are delivered as standard JPGs, video as web-ready MP4 files, and Matterport as a hosted link with embed code. If a brand portal, OTA, or vendor requires a specific size, format, or naming convention, tell us when you book so exports are planned correctly the first time.
Can you prepare different crops and sizes?
Yes. The social crop set add-on prepares selected images for campaign use, and other sizes can be planned when requested. Share any required dimensions for your website, booking engine, or brand portal in the brief so the exports match those specs instead of needing to be redone.
Can you organize files by space or room type?
Yes. Delivery is organized so the same set is easy to use across websites, inquiry replies, decks, and social. If your team needs a specific folder structure or naming convention, such as by outlet, venue room, or room category, include it in the brief before the shoot.
Will Door3D upload images to our website, OTA, or brand portal?
Uploading to third-party platforms is not included in our standard service. We deliver organized files for your team to publish. If you need help with uploads, describe the platform and the permissions involved, and we can discuss it as a custom request before the project starts.
Do you keep backup copies of our media?
Download and archive your final files as soon as they arrive. Our delivery process is not a long-term storage service, and hosted Matterport tours follow their own hosting term. If your team loses files later, contact us and we will check what can be recovered, but please do not rely on it.
Can we request revisions?
Yes. Send a clear, consolidated list soon after delivery. We will correct verified technical issues within the agreed scope. New creative directions, extra retouching, changed branding, or edits based on information shared after approval may need a separate quote and timeline.
Licensing, OTA & brand use
10 answersWhat usage is included with hospitality media?
Website, social, email, deck, and print use are included. Broadcast or broader commercial licensing is quoted separately. That covers how most properties market themselves day to day, including booking pages, proposals, inquiry replies, and social campaigns for the property we photographed.
Who owns the copyright?
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, Door3D keeps the copyright and grants your property a license for the agreed uses. Copyright and the right to use the files are separate things, and booking a shoot does not automatically transfer ownership. The license is what lets you market the property with confidence.
Can we use the photos on OTAs like Expedia or Booking.com?
Listing your own property on booking sites is a common use, and we confirm it in your quote so the license is clear in writing. Each OTA has its own image specs and content rules, so share any requirements before the shoot and we will plan exports around them.
Can our management company or brand use the images?
If a management company, ownership group, or brand will use the images, name them in the brief. Use by related parties for the same property can be written into the license. Use by unrelated third parties, or for other properties in a portfolio, needs separate permission first.
Can you shoot to a hotel brand's photography standards?
Send the current brand guidelines, required shot list, and approval process before booking so we can confirm the scope. Some brands require an approved photographer or specific production conditions; do not assume that status from a general hospitality booking. Include the brand review in your launch schedule, since final acceptance rests with the brand.
Can event planners or vendors use our venue images?
Planners, florists, caterers, or other vendors may want your images for their own marketing. Their use falls outside your license unless it is written into the agreement. Ask us before sharing the library so we can confirm the rights or extend them where it makes sense.
Do we need to credit Door3D?
Check the usage terms supplied with your order for any credit requirements. If a magazine, award program, planner, or vendor wants to publish the images, ask us to confirm that use and any attribution first. Their publication or marketing may fall outside the license for your own property.
Can we buy exclusive rights or the copyright?
Exclusive rights or a full copyright transfer can be discussed for a custom project, but they must be written and priced explicitly. Most properties only need a clear usage license, which is simpler and more practical. Tell us why you need exclusivity and we will suggest the right structure.
Can we use the media in paid advertising?
Tell us about any paid campaign before you launch it. Broadcast and broader commercial campaigns are quoted separately from the included website, social, email, deck, and print use. Share the platforms, reach, and duration so the license matches the campaign rather than leaving you guessing.
Are virtually staged images okay for marketing?
Yes, when they are represented honestly. Staged hospitality images should be clearly identified as conceptual where platforms, brands, or clients require it, and they should not show permanent features that do not exist. Keep the unstaged versions available so you can show the space as it is.
Support & technology
10 answersHow do we reach Door3D?
Call or text (323) 633-0249, email info@Door3D.com, or use the contact form on our site. We reply to inquiries within 24 hours. For anything time sensitive on a shoot day, calling is the fastest route, and include the property name so we can find your project right away.
Is Door3D insured?
Yes. Door3D is fully insured, with liability and drone coverage on every shoot. If your property, management company, or venue has specific insurance paperwork requirements, ask when you book so we can confirm what is needed well before the visit and avoid a delay at check-in.
Can you help us choose the right services?
Yes. Tell us the space type, audience, access window, and launch date. We will recommend the deliverables that fit your booking pages, venue decks, inquiry follow-up, and launch assets, and we will tell you when a service is not worth adding for your space.
Can we see examples of your hospitality work?
Yes. Our Hospitality & Event Venue page shows HDR, drone, and venue work for spaces like dining rooms, patios, rooftops, and arrival areas, plus a live Matterport demo. If you have a specific property type in mind, ask and we will share the most relevant examples we have.
Do you use AI in editing?
We may use modern software as part of an editing workflow that is always reviewed by a person. What matters is the result: accurate spaces, controlled color and exposure, and clear disclosure when an image has been materially changed. Automation never replaces that final human review.
What camera equipment do you use?
We bring professional photo, drone, Matterport, and stabilized video equipment matched to each assignment. Specific gear changes as the kit improves, so we do not tie quotes to a model number. What stays the same is clean exposure, straight lines, accurate color, and reliable backups.
How do you protect property and guest privacy?
We limit project information to what is needed for scheduling, capture, billing, and delivery. Tell us about restricted areas, guest privacy concerns, or confidential back-of-house spaces before the shoot. Please avoid sending sensitive access codes in public notes or group emails.
What happens if the results do not match the brief?
We review the agreed scope, the capture, and the delivered files with you. If there is a correctable issue within that scope, we will work out a practical fix. Requests that change the original direction, or need new on-site work, may be treated as added scope and quoted.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are reviewed case by case rather than promised automatically. Contact us promptly so we can look into the issue and, where appropriate, correct it. Completed capture time, travel, hosting, approved work, and access or readiness issues can all affect the outcome.
Can you support a new opening or relaunch?
Yes. Openings and relaunches suit a phased plan, starting with the spaces that sell the property first and adding refresh coverage as other areas finish. Share your launch date early so capture, editing, and delivery line up with your marketing calendar rather than chasing it.
Have a question or a project in mind?
Tell us about your space. We'll help you plan the next step.
